Laura treats pain, sleep, stress, and hormonal and reproductive health with acupuncture and custom Chinese herbal formulas. Visits are unhurried — most of the first one is spent working out what’s actually driving your symptoms before any needles are involved.
She holds a Clinical Doctorate of Acupuncture from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences University and a Master’s in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine, is board-certified in acupuncture and herbal medicine, and is licensed in Maine — including the state certification for custom herbal formulation.
Her training included over 1,000 clinical hours across thirteen internships in a range of healthcare settings, including Boston Medical Center. That means firsthand experience treating people who are simultaneously navigating physicians, specialists, and hospital systems — not just a standalone wellness setting. Her doctoral coursework focused on advanced diagnostics and on communicating effectively with other providers.
The result is care that’s collaborative by design. Laura will write to your physician when it’s useful to your treatment, and she’ll tell you when something needs a provider who isn’t her.
She continues her training through the WPC Graduate Mentorship Program and ongoing coursework in oncology and women’s health.
In-network with Anthem BCBS, Aetna, Harvard Pilgrim, United Healthcare, and the VA Community Care Network.
